SAMS AWARDS

A number of trophies awarded at the end of the annual SAMS Convention. Most are awarded to the winners of the various competitions that take place during the Convention. The Sir Alexander Cannon Trophy

Awarded to the Scottish Club with the highest points in the "Legerdemain League" over the year.

 

The Jimmy Craig Quaiche

Presented by the SAMS President to the person who, in their opinion, has done the most for magic.

 

The Murray Wand

Presented to the person judged to be showing the most showmanship at the SAMS Convention.

 

The McMillan Shield

Awarded to the winner of the SAMS Stage Competition.

 

The Max Raskin Cup

Awarded for the most entertaining magic act for children.

 

The Ann Warlock Cup

Presented to the winner of the Close Up Competition.

 

The John Ramsay Rose Bowl

Presented for the best magical effect performed during the Close Up Competition.
